Densities are variable depending on the panel thickness. Due to its characteristics, chipboard can be used in melamine paper, laminate, veneer, lacquer and varnish applications. Other chipboard ranges: - Humidity resistant - consisting of wood particles bonded with resins, melamine-urea-formaldehyde for use in humid environments. - Flame resistant - made up of wood particles bonded with synthetic resins and ignifugant products, with physical and mechanical fire-retardant properties. - O.S.B. – made up of wood particles with humidity resistance. |
