Our history
The company history is a growth path, based on self-investment and permanent adaptation to its market.
Araújo & Lino, Lda was founded on January 3, 1980, in Nogueira da Regedoura, Santa Maria da Feira (Portugal), under the name "Lino, Araújo e Ribeiro, Lda.", with its partners, Mr. António Ferreira Lino, Mr. José Sá Araújo and Mr. Joaquim Silva Ribeiro.
In 1984, after consolidation and progress expectations of comercial activity, the company was transfered to Cavaco Industrial Area in Santa Maria da Feira (Portugal), where remains. In 1988, with Mr. Joaquim Ribeiro exit and death, the company changed its name to “Araújo & Lino, Lda.
Growth process continues, and in 1990 is inaugurated a set of wharehouses, totaling a covered area of 5.500 m2.
In 1993, new wharehouses are acquired in Agueda Industrial Area, and in May 1995 Aguedaplaca – Comércio de Derivados de Madeira, Lda. Is founded. An important step of the partners José de Sá Araújo e António Ferreira Lino.
In 1997, are acquired more 1.500m2 of covered area, for products selection and sorting.
In July 2001, died one of the gratest workers of this success and growth path. António Ferreira Lino will be remembered in a missing and fondly way, forever.
In 2002, the first site is lauched, an important step in the company marketing.
In December 2007, the last founder partner dies, Mr. José Sá Araújo. For those who had the good fortune to know him, is sure that world would be better with more men like him.
In 2010, with the constant growing, another investment takes place: one more wharehouse is inaugurated, with a 1.000 m2 of covered area.
In May 2011, Araújo & Lino represents two more value-added brands: Homapal and Kerrock
